To everyone who responded to the appeal from the Blairgowrie Riding for the Disabled your generosity has been apprecaited. This is a little note from them well done...
We would like to thank everyone at Ayr Riding club who, through their extreme generosity, have ensured that Blairgowrie Riding for the Disabled Association can continue providing care and support to local children and young adults. The Association have been completely overwhelmed by the kindness of all those who have donated items and we are so pleased to advise that all of our ponies are now fully kitted out again for riding.
When this horrible theft occurred, we thought it would take several months before we could become operational again, but the horse community have rallied round and helped us in ways we never imagined. So for all those people who donated what they thought were old and unwanted items of tack, thank you so much. It is very much appreciated and each and every item is already being put to good use.
