If any of our members are keen to take part in the Area qualifiers which consist of Dressage, Show jumping, Style Jumping and Horse trials competitions we would like to hear from you. The entries will be subsidised where we can however each competitor agrees that if we are fortunate to win they agree to go to Champonship and adhere to the restrictions made in each discipline.
Dressage – 4th July at Greenfields of Avondale, Drumclog
Championship held at Lincolnshire Showground 11th - 12th September 2010
Dressage - Team of 4 - Novice team :- All riding Prelim 12 (2005)
Open team - 1 riding Novice 24 (2010), 1 riding Novice 28 (2008), 1 riding Novice 30 (2006) & the bravest one riding Elementary 45 (2010)
Riding Test is individuals riding BRC RT 11 (2010) or BRC RT 13 (2010)
Pairs test will be BRC Pairs 4 (2004)
The above test for Pairs and the Novice & Open teams are the same tests that are ridden at the Championship. The Riding Test for the Championship will be BRC RT 12 (2010) or BRC RT 14 (2010)
Eligibility of Horses :- For Novice team no BD points for Open team, Novice test - allowed between 0-124 BD points for Elementary Test - allowed 0-199 BD points
Eligibility of Riders – For Novice dressage no FBHS / BHSI or BHSII
For riding test – No FBHS / BHSI / BHSII / BHSAI

Showjumping / Style Jumping Sunday 20th June 2010 at St Boswells
Championship held at Lincolnshire Showground 11th - 12th September 2010
Team of 4 or individuals for both Show jumping or Style jumping.
Heights for Show jumping = Novice 80cm, Intermediate 95cm & Open 1.10m
Heights for Style Jumping = Maximum 85cm height.
Eligibility of horses :- For Novice showjumping – No BE/EI points or BSJA/SJAI winnings. Also must not of been placed in first 6 places of any BE/EI Pre Novice competition.
Intermediate Showjumping – allowed £175 BSJA/SJAI winnings.
Open Showjumping – allowed £600 BSJA/SJAI winnings
For Style jumping – 10 BE/EI points allowed and £175 BSJA/SJAI winnings
Eligibility of riders – Only exclusions for Senior Style jumping no FBHS / BHSI or BHSII

Novice & Intermediate Horse Trials 10th & 11th July 2010 @ Burgie, Morayshire
Championship held at Aston – Le – Walls in Northamptonshire between 6 to 8th August 2010
Teams of 4 or individuals.
Heights for Novice HT = XC 85cm to 1m at highest point and SJ 85cm
Intermediate HT = XC 1m to 1.10at highest point and SJ 1m
Eligibility of Horses – Novice HT = No BE/EI points and not to have completed any BE/EI pre novice or higher standard course in current year event.
Itermediate HT = 0 – 5 BE/EI points although will incur one penalty for each point and not to have completed a BE Novice competition in current year.
Also for the avoidance of doubt and to ensure our teams are prepared for Burgie we are insisting that you get out with your horses yourself to a few events. For your information we have listed lots of events that will give you and your horses a chance to prepare for Burgie which is very hilly and horses (and riders) will need to be fit enough to compete. You are individually responsible for all costs and entering any competions in the run up and doing the necessary ground work. The reason the Horse Trials is at Burgie is due to Area 1 event not being supported fully and therefore we have been invited to compete at the Area 22 event instead.
