31st December 2009 - Weather Situation & Combined Training
Last Updated: 01/01/2010

The times for the combined training on 3rd Jan will be published shortly. We appreciate that there are various concerns surrounding the weather conditions at present and leading up to the combined training. We are constantly re-assessing the situation. All access routes to Rowallan are clear. Rowallan are currently running a pony show and their carpark is full of lorries, cars and trailers. The ground conditions at the car park are not ideal however,on the day of the combined training we propose to assist with unloading horses and strongly suggest that where possible stables are hired.
Over the next few days the weather forecast is to remain cold but only a sleet shower is forecast for Saturday. The forecast for Sunday is to be sunny. Please re-visit the web-site for further updates.

UPDATE 1st Jan 10
- Rowallan have an area cleared outside the warm up arena and we ask that you unload your horses at this area and then remove your transport and park within the main car park this will allow others the opportunity to unload within this area. In addition we have negotiated the use of day boxes for a reduced rate of £5 for the day. The boxes may of been in use and all we ask is that in return you leave the box tidy and mucked out, if the box has been used then please just skip out prior to your horse using the stable. We fully appreciate the co-operation of Rowallan and would ask that you respect their gratitude by leaving the area clean and tidy and also pay for the box at either the show secretary or the canteen servery. Thanks and enjoy your day.

In the meantime we wish everyone a very Happy New Year.
